Overview:

General Course is designed for non-native Chinese learners from beginners to HSK 5 level. You can study on a 12 week modules. In each 12 week period you will progress through about half an HSK level.

About the Course:

1. You'll be put into a group with 3-9 other students according to your level – there are 10 levels ranging from beginner to HSK 5

2. It's taught in modular format, of each 12 weeks. Learners can sign up for 12 weeks, 6 months, 9 month or 1 year.

3. The course is graded according to the requirements of the HSK outline. Each 12 week course can complete about 1/2 HSK level learning content. Every level combines comprehensive and specific training modes and its content design follows a gradual guideline in terms of difficulty and intensity.

4. It can help learners quickly master various Chinese skills and ultimately achieve the goal of fluent communication in Chinese by studying HSK standard learning materials.

10 levels (12 weeks for a level)

Each 12 weeks module will go through one of the levels below. So after one course, you will have completed 1/2 HSK level.

• • Level 1 zero basis -130 words (Beginners-HSK1)
• • Level 2 130 words-260 words (HSK1-HSK1+)
• • Level 3 260 words-380 words (HSK1+-HSK2)
• • Level 4 380 words-510 words (HSK2-HSK2+)
• • Level 5 510 words-600 words (HSK2+-HSK3)
• • Level 6 600 words-850 words (HSK3-HSK3+)
• • Level 7 850 words-1350 words (HSK3+-HSK4)
• • Level 8 1350 words-1700 words (HSK4-HSK4+)
• • Level 9 1700 words-2100 words (HSK4+-HSK4++)
• • Level 10 2100 words-2500 words (HSK4++-HSK5)

The online HSK course includes the following:

• • 1 on 1 placement test, live online with the BLCU teacher
• • 1 live class/week (50 minutes-1 hour)
• • Online learning material + homework （2-3 hours self-study）
• • Online final test
• • WeChat group discussion
• • Question-answering under the guidance of BLCU teachers after class
• • 1/2 an HSK level
• • Certificate from BLCU

Once you complete the program, you will be given a certificate and transcript from BLCU.

• After 5 students of the same level applied, the new class can open.
• Students could pay first and wait for the rest students. They could start self-study with the learning materials under the guidance of BLCU teachers while waiting.
• We prefer to have 5-9 students in a group class. If a student doesn't want to wait for other group members. They could choose customized group classes or 1 on 1 class.
• Each class has a duration of 50 minutes.
• Enrollment is highly flexible depending on the schedule of the students.
